It's why our Mission Statement includes a clear commitment –
LOHENS INDUSTRY LINKS
LOHEN’S INDUSTRY LINKS
LOHEN TAKES PRIDE IN BUILDING AND MAINTAINING PROFESSIONAL AND EFFECTIVE BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS WITH ITS CUSTOMERS, CLIENTS, SUPPLIERS, AND ASSOCIATED BUSINESSES.
... to conduct business in a responsible manner
with positive social and environmental impact
During 2016 we were very proud to be awarded Recognised Employer status as part of The Institute of the Motor Industry’s (IMI) prestigious accreditation scheme.
This really matters to us. Why?
The IMI Recognised Employer Scheme requires that at least 50% of the entire Lohen Team are qualified for inclusion on the IMI Professional Register. We believe that really matters for our customers. Emma Dutton, Lohen's Head of Marketing, explains this further in the video below:
We are also proud to be an active member of The Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce. This provides fantastic professional networking opportunities and great access to the Chamber’s recognised expertise in things like international trade and business development.
Alongside our partnership with IMI we value the high quality training opportunities that come with our membership of the Chamber of Commerce. This again underlines the investment we make to build the skills and professional qualifications of everyone at Lohen.
Many of our long term partnerships are about supporting people who are enthusiastic to establish a career within the automotive sector.
We invest in offering work experience and study assignments to School, College, and University students. These have included recent placements from the JCB Academy, Stafford College and Staffordshire University.
We also enjoy the sheer fun of linking our business activities with the opportunity to contribute something to local charities. We are keen supporters of The Douglas Macmillan Hospice, a charity that offers care to people with life-limiting diseases as well as their families and carers.
... and that is where the generous spirit of the New MINI community kicks in. At events like the Lohen Track Day at Bedford in August and the Big MINI Show at Penkridge in September our customers and friends gave so generously. It is something we get a real kick out of and there will be much more to come.
