GruppeM Induction Kits For MINI
GruppeM is a world-famous induction kit manufacturer based in Japan. For 25 years their precision RAM, Super Cleaner and Power Cleaner Intake Systems have been arguably some of the best induction systems on the market.
Their products are designed and manufactured in their factory based in Japan. All their products have been tested in the upper echelons of motorsport, in some of the most severe conditions and are proven in their quality of engineering and performance. Since 1996 GruppeM has been manufacturing parts for much Original Equipment Manufactures and because of this they have been able to raise the bar with their strict designs, quality and performance requirements.
What's on offer?
GruppeM offers two intake systems for the MINI, a RAM Air Kit and a Super Cleaner Kit.
RAM Air System
The RAM air system is GruppeM’s flagship intake system and there is an option available for all three MINI generations. It makes use of of a conical filter with an inner and outer centre cone that helps accelerate ambient air and reduce turbulence. The intake housing is made from 100% real carbon fibre and has been designed to prevent heat from entering the intake stream and to ensure that only cool air enters the engine bay.
This high capacity design makes full use of your MINIs engine bay so it can draw in the greatest amount of ambient air as possible. The system features an enlarged intake air-duct behind the grill which channels fresh air directly into the engine, increasing both horsepower and torque throughout the rev range. The RAM AIR induction kits add a truly sporty sound at high RPM making an awesome edition for any MINI.
Super Cleaner System
The GruppeM Super Cleaner kit is a bolt-on induction system available for Gen 3 MINIs only. It was designed to reduce intake temperatures by drawing in air from the cold air feed at the front of the engine bay. This kit takes advantage of a conical filter which is surrounded by an ultra-light carbon heat shield. This carbon induction system effectively and efficiently prevents water and mud from entering the filter and its cone design helps to improve airflow. It also allows for easy access to the filter so it can be cleaned or replaced easily preventing performance loss during high engine loads.
Both kits use a K&N filter which provides the best filtration and airflow in both to both kits helping to increase torque across the whole rev range.
