These particular McGard bolts come with a gloss black coating on the head of the bolt. This durable finish will help blend the wheel bolts in with darker coloured wheels and those running regular black wheel bolts and wanting a locking set to match.
Lohen offers 4 different lengths of bolt: 27mm, 32mm, 37mm and 47mm all of which come with thread size M14 x 1.25. The head of these bolts is slightly recessed meaning that it is narrower than the original MINI locking wheel bolts. This is an advantage when using them with aftermarket wheels as sometimes the original items can be too wide and the key will foul on the wheel body, not allowing you to tighten the bolt fully and possibly damaging your wheels.
Standard wheel bolt length is 28mm so simply add the width of your spacer to this to ascertain what length locking wheel nut you need.
