Stage 2 ECU Tune for Gen 3 MINI Cooper S & JCW
What are the gains from the Stage 2 ECU Tune?
The ECU tuning has been designed to deliver performance from hardware upgrades. The ECU tunes require the MINI to be fitted with a performance air filter or induction kit, a quality uprated intercooler and a freer-flowing Sport cat downpipe or de-cat pipe if the MINI is being used on the track.
The Stage 2 ECU tune coupled with the hardware upgrades will deliver approximately 285 BHP and 460 Nm of torque.
Requirements
The gen 3 maps are available for Cooper S and JCW F54 Clubman, F55 5-door hatch, F56 3 door hatch, F57 convertible and F60 Countryman models.
The Stage 2 ECU tune requires the following modification to be installed to your Gen 3 MINI:
- High-Performance Spark Plugs
- Performance panel filter or induction kit
- Performance intercooler
- Sports catalyst downpipe or decat downpipe
Installation
For the ECU tune to be installed this must be done at Lohen's HQ in Eccleshall, Staffordshire. It cannot be applied remotely. To install a Stage 2 ECU tune to the Generation 3 MINI Lohen will require the car from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm.
Note
The ECU may need to be split.
Performance figures may vary and could be higher or lower depending on the individual MINI engine and the types of modifications installed.
This remap is suitable for both LCI and Pre LCI MINI's.
