Lohen Enlarged Throttle body

Lohen enlarged throttle bodies are machined in-house and are the largest throttle bodies available on the market to date. This is an ideal modification if you're looking to improve throttle response (get up and go!). Whilst testing we found that they made the cars a lot more eager, feel lighter and ready for action; all of which greatly enhances drivability. As well as the advantage of increased throttle response we have seen gains as high as 5bhp on modified Cooper S's. We currently offer two sizes, these measurements are straight through and don't narrow to a smaller diameter in the centre. One/Cooper - 58mm (53mm standard) Cooper S - 64mm (58mm standard) We precision machine the larger diameter and machine and cut a new butterfly to suit for a perfect fit. The surface of the throttle body is smoothed for maximum airflow. The throttle body is finished off with a custom end cover. Delivery and Shipping

Delivery charges are based on weight (kgs) within the UK and Europe, International orders are based on volumetric weight and may be more than what you pay at checkout. Charges are the same when ordering online, by email or over the phone and include VAT. Items if in stock are dispatched same day (Before 2pm) and sent on a next working day service and includes insurance cover. See our main section below for more details.

Sample Shipping Costs

UK

Orders under £200 are sent by a DHL Express service that is usually a next day service and costs start from £12 depending on weight. 

Orders over £200 are sent for free by a DHL Express service that is usually a next day service

Europe and Rest of the World

For European and rest of the orders, parcels are sent by DHL and costs start from £12 up to 30kg per box. Delivery time takes between 3-7 working days depending on country.

Our shipping prices are occasionally subject to change. Lohen reserves the right to contact you with a shipping amendment if necessary.

The cleint is responsible for all import duites, taxes and processing fees which are payable to the carrier or carrier agent prior to delivery.

 

Returns & Refunds

Returns

Refunds are available within 7 days after delivery for products that are unused and are in original packaging. Special order goods are non-refundable. Products that are damaged in transit to or from the customer can be refunded up to 14 days after the product has been delivered.

Refunds

Products returned to us in imperfect, non-resalable condition will not qualify for a refund. Products that are faulty due to the manufacturing process are refundable under the manufacturer's warranty for a limited time specified in the manufacturer's terms and conditions. These do not apply if the product has been fitted incorrectly or misused, motorsport use could further reduce the manufacturer's warranty.

If an order is cancelled or refunded the buyer is responsible for the return of the goods to such address as directed by the supplier and is at the consumer's sole expense. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Our throttle bodies come with an additional option of a machined knife-edged butterfly. By choosing this option we will machine the edge of the butterfly to a point so that when the throttle is open the butterfly can cut through the air which improves air flow by limiting turbulence.

All throttle bodies are finished off with a brand new custom-made end cover cap that clips into place. This gives a secure seal and looks as good if not better than the standard item. Most other throttle bodies on the market re-use and weld the standard cap back on after it has been sawn off in production.

You may notice a gap between the edge of the butterfly and throttle body in the pictures, this is intentional so that you don't starve the engine of air when the car is running at idle.

This is an exchange item, we recondition and machine previously used throttle bodies. We only machine working throttle bodies, we ensure this by putting each throttle body through tests before machining takes place. As an exchange item, we take a deposit on ordering. There are two options here, either a non-refundable core cost which means you can keep your standard throttle body or a refundable deposit which is refunded on return of your standard throttle body to us.

How the exchange works - non-refundable core cost
1) After your order has been placed we send you the Lohen enlarged throttle body, usually dispatched within 1-3 days.
2) Once received, you need not take any further action.

How the exchange works - refundable deposit
1) After your order has been placed we send you the Lohen enlarged throttle body, usually dispatched within 1-3 days.
2) Once you receive the throttle body, contact us and we will arrange our courier to pick up your standard throttle body free of charge.
3) Once the standard throttle body is with us, we will refund the deposit in full.
Please note: The returned throttle body must be in good working condition to receive the full deposit. We require that you contact us within 7-10 days of receipt of the throttle body to arrange the return of your standard item. After this period of 7-10 days, unless otherwise stated by us, we will not be able to offer a refund of the deposit, we will presume you would like to keep the standard item.
