Founded in the USA over 20 years ago, they were one of the first manufacturers who designed performance aftermarket induction systems with specific tube lengths and diameters to take advantage of pressure waves in the inlet tract, and to begin producing induction kits to maximise the cold air entering the combustion chamber to maximise power increases. This quality and perfected design is certainly visible in their MINI intake kit. This kit has been designed specifically for the N14-engined R56 MINI to deliver cool air to the K&N air filter supplied, unlike any other R56 intake kit the AEM comes with an air duct, which mounts, to the bonnet making the bonnet scoop functional after removing the plastic grill.

Delivery charges are based on weight (kgs) within the UK and Europe, International orders are based on volumetric weight and may be more than what you pay at checkout. Charges are the same when ordering online, by email or over the phone and include VAT. Items if in stock are dispatched same day (Before 2pm) and sent on a next working day service and includes insurance cover. See our main section below for more details.

Returns
Refunds are available within 7 days after delivery for products that are unused and are in original packaging. Special order goods are non-refundable. Products that are damaged in transit to or from the customer can be refunded up to 14 days after the product has been delivered.
Refunds
Products returned to us in imperfect, non-resalable condition will not qualify for a refund. Products that are faulty due to the manufacturing process are refundable under the manufacturer's warranty for a limited time specified in the manufacturer's terms and conditions. These do not apply if the product has been fitted incorrectly or misused, motorsport use could further reduce the manufacturer's warranty.
If an order is cancelled or refunded the buyer is responsible for the return of the goods to such address as directed by the supplier and is at the consumer's sole expense. This does not affect your statutory rights.

This quality and perfected design is certainly visible in their MINI intake kit.
The quality of the AEM intake kit is fantastic and that together with the superb power gains is what makes AEM a great induction choice for the serious MINI tuner, the K&N air filter included traps dust and debris through an extremely durable synthetic media, the filter incorporates a metal screen on the outside that enhances airflow and aids in keeping the pleating in the proper position.
In-house dyno testing on a 2012 JCW showed a 21.4bhp gain. Please see the dyno graph in the images.

The AEM has been designed specifically for the N14-engined R56 MINI to deliver cool air to the K&N air filter supplied, unlike any other R56 intake kit the AEM comes with an air duct, which mounts, to the bonnet making the bonnet scoop functional after removing the plastic grill. The AEM kit will give your MINI a slightly louder growl from the engine, accompanied by an improved throttle response.

Kit fits:
All R56 MINI Cooper S models with N14 engines including the JCW
- Please note if your MINI does NOT have a MAF sensor - please select one from our product options below.
- This kit will only fit MINI with N14 engines.
- N14 engines are present on Coooper S manufactured from 2007 to July 2010 and John Coooper Works manufactured from 2007 - 2012
- If a MAF sensor is not fitted you will require a Maf adaptor.
- A MAF adaptor is required on all Cooper S models. Factory JCW's and Stage 1 JCW's do not require the MAF adapter.
- This kit is currently only compatible with the AEM strut brace.

If you want to fit a strut brace with this induction kit the only strut brace that will fit is the AEM strut brace. This is specifically designed to fit around the induction kit.
If you have a Cooper S you will need a MAF sensor. If you have JCW this will already come fitted with a MAF Sensor.
How do I know if my Mini has a Maf adapter?
All JCW's come with a maf adapter as standard. However the Cooper S does not come with a maf adapter. So if you have a Cooper S you will need a maf adapter.
