We've spent a long time working with a wide variety of MINI performance and motorsport parts and are perfectly placed to carry out any work to your track day or race car, whether a One, Cooper, Cooper S or JCW variant.

Lohen has been involved in Motorsport since 2010 and has built and run MINIs in a variety of championships, all of which have gone on to achieve class wins and podiums finishes. We started by preparing MINIs for sprint race series’, both with open and defined regulations. As our knowledge and expertise developed, we converted cars for endurance racing, tackling the specific challenges presented by long races and driver changes. We have converted naturally aspirated, supercharged and turbo-charged MINIs, from simple bolt in cages to full weld in FIA spec multi-point safety cells. Our experience also includes a number of track day cars for customers, who simply wish to enjoy their MINI as a fun track car.

Complete Build and Assembly

Our experienced team of engineers and mechanics will be delighted to build a car to suit your needs. We are happy to take a donor MINI or to source one, carry out all the necessary work to the agreed specification and even organise a post-build shake down of the car. If required, on-track support can be provided by Lohen, either the whole season or on ad-hoc basis.

Roll-cage Installation

From a simple bolt in track day cage to a custom designed FIA specification multi-point weld-in cage, Lohen can offer a solution to suit your requirements and budget. Where regulations permit, we can also seam weld your MINI’s body shell and then complete the installation by having all the bodywork painted to give a high standard of finish.

Bodyshop Services

Any track prepared MINI will need to have its bodywork put right and maintained, either after-roll cage installation, seam welding or an on-track accident. Lohen can execute the work to the highest of standards making sure your MINI always looks its best.

Electronics and Wiring

Lohen has the expertise and experience to modify your existing wiring loom - removing stereo, heater, electric windows and any other redundant components whilst making everything look neat. We can also create a secondary overlay loom for race instrumentation, safety equipment; or a complete re-wire of your car for a stand alone PDM, ECU, Dash and Data-logger.

We are authorised dealers for MoTeC and Vi-Pec and are able to supply a full range of their products. We can even source a Motorsport ABS system and our experience in the MINI Challenge means we are also familiar with Cosworth data-logging products.

Maintenance of Race, Rally and Track day cars

Every car needs to be kept in the best possible state and this is even truer for race and track cars that require more frequent and precise maintenance due to the increased stresses experienced through competition and track use. Lohen can carry out a full pre-season health check, post winter storage review or offer maintenance support throughout the race season.
