Delivery charges are based on weight (kgs) within the UK and Europe, International orders are based on volumetric weight and may be more than what you pay at checkout. Charges are the same when ordering online, by email or over the phone and include VAT. Items if in stock are dispatched same day (Before 2pm) and sent on a next working day service and includes insurance cover. See our main section below for more details.

Refunds are available within 7 days after delivery for products that are unused and are in original packaging. Special order goods are non-refundable. Products that are damaged in transit to or from the customer can be refunded up to 14 days after the product has been delivered.
Refunds
Products returned to us in imperfect, non-resalable condition will not qualify for a refund. Products that are faulty due to the manufacturing process are refundable under the manufacturer's warranty for a limited time specified in the manufacturer's terms and conditions. These do not apply if the product has been fitted incorrectly or misused, motorsport use could further reduce the manufacturer's warranty.
If an order is cancelled or refunded the buyer is responsible for the return of the goods to such address as directed by the supplier and is at the consumer's sole expense. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Description
CravenSpeed has developed a lightened crank pulley for the MINI R53 Cooper S & JCW to replace the OEM component without altering the configuration of the original belt layout. Constructed from 6061 aircraft aluminium you will benefit from extensive weight savings and, as a result, will benefit from power gains of up to 10% depending on how your MINI is set up. CravenSpeed crank pulleys come fully balanced and counter-weighted, and feature anodising for superb wear resistance & strength. If you are looking to release yet further power from your MINI’s engine, it’s possible to buy a 2% enlarged and lightened crank.
CravenSpeed states that each US pound saved in weight from the engine’s rotating assembly is worth roughly 2.7 horespower. The concept is that the crank is a parasite; it does not put power to the drivetrain but still requires the energy produced by the engine to rotate. When you reduce this parasitic weight, you release power that was previously used only for spinning the supercharger and alternator. You have effectively released power previously unable to harness.
This pulley is safe to use even though you are swapping from a ‘damped’ pulley to a single mass, solid pulley. The elastomer (rubber ring that looks similar to a harmonic damper) in the OEM pulley acts as an isolator to suppress natural vibration and noise from the engine itself. A traditional harmonic damping pulley would have been designed to protect against crank failure from torsional movement but CravenSpeed has researched the need for this and found it to be unnecessary in the MINI engine because of advances in engine design and materials. You can fit this part with confidence.

- Fitting Cost - £180 - When Fitted With Superharger Pulley £90
- Fitting Time - 2 Hours
- Required Additional Items/Services - Depending on your crank pulley size and supercharger pulley size you will need to change the size of your auxillary belt
- Lohen Recommends - Whilst getting the work done change your supercharger pulley to get the ultimate performance for your car.
