Lohen MINI R53 Head Swap Kit

Swapping for a performance head on your MINI can give you some good performance gains as long as it is fitted properly and the engine is re-assembled correctly. If you have been unfortunate enough to experience a head gasket failure you will also need to remove your head and this kit would be perfect for aiding the refitting process. We have put together a selection of genuine MINI items that will allow you to install a head and get you back on the road as smoothly possible.

Delivery and Shipping

Delivery charges are based on weight (kgs) within the UK and Europe, International orders are based on volumetric weight and may be more than what you pay at checkout. Charges are the same when ordering online, by email or over the phone and include VAT. Items if in stock are dispatched same day (Before 2pm) and sent on a next working day service and includes insurance cover. See our main section below for more details.

Sample Shipping Costs

UK

Orders under £200 are sent by a DHL Express service that is usually a next day service and costs start from £12 depending on weight. 

Orders over £200 are sent for free by a DHL Express service that is usually a next day service

Europe and Rest of the World

For European and rest of the orders, parcels are sent by DHL and costs start from £12 up to 30kg per box. Delivery time takes between 3-7 working days depending on country.

The cleint is responsible for all import duites, taxes and processing fees which are payable to the carrier or carrier agent prior to delivery.

 

Returns & Refunds

Returns

Refunds are available within 7 days after delivery for products that are unused and are in original packaging. Special order goods are non-refundable. Products that are damaged in transit to or from the customer can be refunded up to 14 days after the product has been delivered.

Refunds

Products returned to us in imperfect, non-resalable condition will not qualify for a refund. Products that are faulty due to the manufacturing process are refundable under the manufacturer's warranty for a limited time specified in the manufacturer's terms and conditions. These do not apply if the product has been fitted incorrectly or misused, motorsport use could further reduce the manufacturer's warranty.

If an order is cancelled or refunded the buyer is responsible for the return of the goods to such address as directed by the supplier and is at the consumer's sole expense. This does not affect your statutory rights.

By using all new gaskets on the inlet and exhaust manifolds, head and bypass valve as well as new O-rings you are ensuring that you will have no oil or air leaks from the head. New rocker cover bolts will make sure that there is a good seal between the cover, gasket and head and a new camshaft bolt is always recommended when swapping heads. We also supply new head bolts which are essential when you are fitting your head as well as a fresh oil filter.
